The OurCarbon Paver Collection emerged from a strategic initiative to expand Whipsaw's sustainable materials expertise in response to growing client interest in biomaterials and environmental innovation. Through a collaboration with OurCarbon, a pioneering material additive that transforms sewage sludge into a sustainable alternative to harmful carbon black pigment, Whipsaw designed a collection of pavers that promote sustainable stormwater management while showcasing the material's unique properties in concrete applications. This self-initiated project demonstrates how innovative material science can address both environmental challenges and practical infrastructure needs.
